We are pleased to offer an excellent example of early 20th-century Swedish craftsmanship: a 1907-dated Swedish Mauser M96 manufactured by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori, presented in very good overall condition with all matching serial numbers.
This rifle represents the high standard of Swedish small arms manufacturing in the years leading up to the First World War. It remains in very good condition, featuring a strong, honest finish on the metal, crisp markings, and solid wood with appropriate character. The fact that it retains all matching numbers although missing the cleaning rod significantly enhances its collectibility and confirms its well-preserved, original state.
This offering is further enhanced by the inclusion of a correct-pattern, m/1896 bayonet, which, while not serial-matched, completes the classic military presentation. For the collector of Mauser variants or Scandinavian arms, this M96 represents a superb opportunity. It delivers the renowned smooth action and inherent accuracy of the Swedish Mauser platform, with the added appeal of matching numbers and early pre-WWI provenance—a ready-to-display and shootable piece of history.
